Most people-pleasers are extraordinarily caring, often forgetting to care for themselves. Compassion isn’t selfish – it’s essential.


Extending kindness to yourself retrains your nervous system to recognise safety from within. Even small acts – a pause, gentle boundaries, or noticing your needs – help your body learn that safety doesn’t have to come from keeping others happy.


Start small. Choose one compassionate action each day. Your nervous system will gradually adjust, and you’ll feel more grounded and balanced.
