Caring For Those Who Care
Tailored Wellbeing Support for Organisations
In high-pressure industries like education, healthcare, and corporate sectors, caring for others is at the heart of what you do. But who cares for the carers?
As a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with years of experience supporting individuals and teams, I understand the unique challenges carers face—emotional labour, high workloads, and the delicate balance of boundaries. These pressures can take a toll on wellbeing, resilience, and performance.
That’s why I’m passionate about providing tailored wellbeing solutions for organisations. Whether it's through:
-
Workshops and training on stress management, resilience, and preventing burnout,
-
One-to-one counselling for staff navigating emotional demands,
-
Leadership support to foster a culture of wellbeing, or
-
Team wellbeing programs to build collective resilience
My goal is to empower your team to sustain their vital work while prioritising their own mental health and balance.
Having worked with organisations like IBM, Hampshire Hospitals NHS Trust, and Mind, I offer practical, compassionate strategies that make a real difference.

Why Invest in Staff Wellbeing?
To highlight the importance of staff support, it's essential to recognise the significant wellbeing challenges faced by those in caring roles. For example according to the Education Support Partnership, 78% of education staff report feeling stressed, with 39% experiencing mental health issues in the past year. Additionally, 36% of teachers report experiencing burnout, and nearly half of teachers suffer from sleep deprivation due to work-related stress. (Source Schools Week and The Teachers' Union)
These statistics illustrate the emotional and physical toll on educators, often exacerbated by heavy workloads, challenging pupil behaviour, and the pressures of inspections. In fact, 90% of teachers in a NASUWT survey indicated an increase in work-related stress in the past year, with 52% citing workload as the primary stress factor. (Source:The Teachers' Union)
Providing support services such as counselling and stress management is crucial for mitigating burnout and improving overall staff wellbeing. Organisations that implement wellbeing initiatives, including access to mental health resources, not only help staff thrive but also contribute to a more positive and supportive culture. Offering such support can reduce absenteeism and boost staff resilience, ultimately benefiting both staff and those they care for.
