In most cases:

  • Enquiry information is kept for up to 12 months if you do not begin counselling

  • Client records are usually kept for a period required by professional and insurance standards after counselling ends

After this time, your information is securely deleted.

Sharing your information

I keep your information confidential.

I will only share it if:

  • You give me permission

  • I am required to do so by law

  • There is a serious risk of harm to you or others

  • It is required by professional safeguarding responsibilities

I will always aim to discuss this with you first where possible.
